-Work- Cartoon Exhibition 2018 Bamberg, Germany
Dear artist,
Around 85% -90% of the population is forced to make a living by selling their labor. Employment is an important factor in the lives of most people around whom they plan their private lives. This is not the only reason why our society is called a "work society". The design of gainful employment and access to it also determine the main social conflicts.
On the occasion of its 60th anniversary, the Katholische Betriebsseelsorge in the Archbishopric of Bamberg wants to focus on gainful employment in a caricature exhibition.
The archdiocese of Bamberg has had very good experiences with caricature exhibitions in recent years, and the various catalogs have become real bestsellers
developed:
"For the sake of Heaven's sake in the cartoon", 2006; "Oh dear God - cartoons on ecumenism and the church", 2010; "Everyone in a boat
- Caricatures on Africa and Europe ", 2011 and" Brilliant prospects - 99 cartoons on climate, consumption and other disasters ", 2015.
That is why we would like to ask you (again) for your cooperation. Of course you will receive a corresponding fee for all drawings included in the exhibition.
The following aspects of the topic "work" could be incorporated:
• participation / trade unions / works councils
• Fair wages and fair working conditions
• Would human work
• Future of work / digitization
• Precarious employment / time limits
• Sunday work / time off
• Bullying / Burn Out
• Pastoral care / church in operation
Did we arouse your interest? Then send photos or copies of your drawing (s) to the email address
