The initiative aims to have students from the schools of
every order and degree and artists from all over the world. It comes to them
asked to elaborate one or more original works with the theme of
peace, tolerance, the fight against all forms of racism, the defense of
human rights. The works can be of two types:
1) IMAGES made with the most different techniques, but which can
be sent to the Istituto Superiore di Spilimbergo Il Tagliamento
by e-mail: istsupiore@faxforpeace.eu
in JPG format whose weight does not exceed 1.5 Mb.
2) VIDEO or animations up to 5 minutes long that they can
be sent in compressed format via e-mail to:
istsuperiore@faxforpeace.eu,
or sent by post: via degli Alpini, 1 - 33097 Spilimbergo (Pn) Italy.
The videos can be made in the most popular formats (AVI, MPEG, Real
Video, QuickTime, Video for Windows, etc.).
TIMES FOR SENDING THE WORKS
Starting from 8.00 on Sunday 24 November 2019
until midnight on Thursday 29 February 2020
THE EXHIBITION
The individual works, as they arrive, will be exposed to the public
at the Higher Education Institute of Spilimbergo Il Tagliamento
(Pordenone, Italy) in an exhibition in progress which will be inaugurated at
17.00 on Sunday 24 November 2019. In it will appear of
day by day the works received no later than the deadline for sending.
Under penalty of exclusion from the initiative, each author must indicate in the work o
the following data are attached: name and surname, city of residence, country,
telephone number and any fax number or e-mail address. The
students must also specify the address of the School, age and class
who attend. The participants, the moment they transmit
to the Spilimbergo Il Tagliamento Higher Education Institute
works implicitly authorize the Institute to reproduce and use them
works for the realization of the catalog and for the diffusion with the most diverse
non-profit media. The organizers do not assume any
responsibility for loss and any other form of damage
that the works can suffer. In any case, the works and videos do not
they can be returned or retransmitted to the authors. The exhibition will close
April 30, 2020. A catalog will be printed with the exhibition
which will reproduce a large selection of the works received and will be sent
free of charge to schools and authors of published works
they will request.
THE JURY
A jury of communication experts, art critics and representatives
of the world of the School, on the basis of adherence to the proposed themes e
the effectiveness of the message, will select 6 works from all those received
and sent within the prescribed time.
THE PRICES
The authors of the selected works will be assigned:
- a prize of € 300.00 reserved for nursery and primary schools;
- a € 300.00 prize reserved for First Grade Secondary Schools;
- a € 300.00 prize reserved for Second Grade Secondary Schools;
- a prize of € 300.00 for a video or animation;
- a prize of € 300.00 reserved for artists;
SPECIAL AWARD
- a prize of € 300.00 will be awarded to a satirical or humorous image
that invites reflection on the human and civil issues to which the initiative is dedicated;
