News of WORLD PRESS CARTOON

Of The WPC 2020 Jury meeting was held in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, and the winners were selected.

The prized works are coming from Brazil, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Mexico, Nicaragua, Portugal and Turkey.

the 2020 Jury: Jean-Michel Renault, from France, António Antunes, from Portugal, Jakub Wiejacki, from Poland, Sabine Glaubitz, from Germany and Osmani Simanca, from Cuba.

The awards will be announced here next May 9th, around 11 pm.

May 9 is the date of  a great cartoon event in Caldas da Rainha (Portugal)

The big festival of the world cartoon is already scheduled: May 9, 2020.

The fifteenth edition of WORLD PRESS CARTOON will once again take place in the city of Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. The award ceremony will take place at the Cultural and Congress Center, along with a great show of music and humour.

The exhibition WORLD PRESS CARTOON · CALDAS DA RAINHA 2020 will open in the same venue, after the ceremony, and will be open to the public until the end of July.

WORLD PRESS CARTOON distinguishes, exhibits, disseminates and rewards the best cartoons published in the world press over the course of a year.
