PARTICIPATION RULES:

Vaslui ”Stefan eel Mare” County Museum is announcing a new edition of „The International Caricature and Graphic Satire Salon” Connect, organized ithin the „Constantine Tanase” H umo r Festival in Vaslui.

promote and bring together the caricaturists and graphic satire artists from all over the world.

    The „Constantine Tânase” Humor Festival in Vaslui will take place between the 16th and the 20th

of“ September 2020.

    The International Caricature and Graphic Satire Salon includes a single section of Caricature and Graphic Satire that will have as its these in this edition of the Jubilee of the Humor I festival Constantine Tñnase" (1970 - 2020) ”Pnitdemic masks Romania”.

    Caricaturists and graphic satirists from Romania and from other countries can participate at the contest, with no age limits.

    CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION:

    Each contestant must send at least 3 (three) pieces of original work. The drawings can be black and white or colored, they must be unpublished and without prizes, for the Sectioit of Caricature nn‹t Graphic Satire.

    The candidate to enroll on this contest acknowledges being solely responsible for the veracity of the data and authorship of the work presented, being held liable on a civil and criminal basis. during or afire the contest, it proven guilty

    People who work directly with the organizing committee or the jury of the ”Constantine Tânase”

Humor Festival is not allowed to participate, including and up to their second-degree relatives

    the drawings will be no larger than 297 x 420 mm (A3 format), working techniques are free of

choice.

    only the original drawings that respect the theme ot the contest will be admitted. copies of the drawings won’t be admitted to an kind or works sent by electronic means (this will NOT be accepted for competition).

    The organizers reserve their right to give to the media the works from the contest, without having the copyrights from their authors, with the purpose of promoting this Year Edition of the Humor Festival ”Constantine Tânase” Vaslui.

    All the received works\drawings will entry to the patrimony of the Vaslui ”Stefan eel Mare” County Museum, that collects the most important Romanian caricature works for more than 50 years.

    The jury of the " International Caricature and Graphic Satire Salon " will be composed of3 (three) distinguished members in the field caricature and graphic satire art, personalities of culture and art and will judge the works based on creativity, originality, and fulfilling the contest theme. The selection will be made by the judging commission whose decision must be accepted by the participants, CT no possibility of being challenged.

    At the Salon - Contest, the Jury will award the prizes and the trophies from the Humor Festival ”Constantine Tânase”, and the winners will be announced in due time, so they can be present at the awarding ceremony in Vaslui.
