REGULATION 13th MEDPLAN AND HUMAN HEALTH HUMOR SALON

1 – REGISTRATION: October 13th to November 15th

The 13th Medplan and Humana Saúde Humor Salon is open to all graphic artists who want to submit their own works. Each artist may apply in one or more categories with a maximum of 5 (five) works in total, in 30 x 40 cm format and using any technique. The categories are: cartoon/charge, caricature and comic/comic book. The comic book should have only one page. If you choose the strip, the artist can place up to 5 strips on the page. Entries will be made exclusively through the website (www.salaodehumor.com).

The artist will send their works through the registration form, through the link “Sign up” (salaodehumor.com/inscribe), with a maximum size of 3 megabytes. The submission of works must be done exclusively through the website.

2 – THEME The theme chosen for the 13th Medplan and Humana Saúde Humor Salon is : RESILIENCE.

3 – SELECTION AND CHOICE OF AWARDED WORKS It takes place from November 16th to 19th, 2021.

4 – AWARDS First place (cartoon/charge): R$ 5,000.00 (five thousand reais). Second place (cartoon/charge): R$3,000.00 (three thousand reais). Medplan and Humana Saúde Caricature Award: R$ 2,000.00 (two thousand reais).

Free theme. Medplan and Humana Saúde Comic/Comic Award: R$ 2,000.00 (two thousand reais) for whoever makes the best comic/comic book. Free theme. Internet Award: R$ 2,000.00 (two thousand reais).

The Internet Award will be chosen by internet users from November 22nd to 26th at the website: salaodehumor.com

5 – TRAVELING EXHIBITION The best works will be part of the traveling exhibition of the 13th Medplan and Humana Saúde Humor Salon. The selected artists automatically and free of charge cede the copyright of their work(s) for reproductions and publications in any support, in an unrestricted manner, for the dissemination of the Medplan and Humana Saúde Humor Salon.

6 – ABOUT CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION AND LOSS OF AWARD

6.1 – The competing works must necessarily be authored by the applicant.

6.2 – Participating works may not have been awarded until the closing date of registration for the Medplan and Humana Saúde Humor Salon.

6.3 – Professionals and amateurs can enter works of authorship, which have not been awarded in other graphic events until the closing date of entries. Sole Paragraph: the Internet Award follows the same rule as in the caput.

6.4 – In the event of disqualification of any participant, the artist in a position subsequent to the excluded one, will occupy the position of this one, receiving his/her prize, if that is the case. Example: If the second place is disqualified or excluded, the third place takes its position.

If the first is disqualified or excluded, the second takes its position. And so on.

6.5 – Works must contain the author's signature.

6.6 – The following may not participate in this Humor Exhibition: a) Medplan and Humana Saúde employees; b) relatives of Medplan and Humana Saúde employees, regardless of grade; c) anyone involved in organizing the event, directly or indirectly.

6.7 – If the award jury finds fraud or plagiarism in any work entered, it may cancel the award given.

6.8 – A summary resume and photo are requested for cataloging in Medplan and Humana Saúde's database and research.

To make sure that your work is original, the artist is suggested to check on specialized websites if there is no coincidence in the image, text and/or situation of your work with another already published in newspapers, magazines or websites. If plagiarism is confirmed, the work will be automatically disqualified.

6.9 – The simple registration configures the participant's automatic agreement with all terms. Other information about the show: +55 (86) 99975 2514. Sole Paragraph: The simple registration requires the artist to accept these regulations. The selected artists automatically assign the copyright of their work(s) for reproductions and publications in any medium, in an unrestricted manner, aiming at publicizing the event.

6.10 - The result of the award may be contested up to four days after the announcement of the winners of the Hall, with reasonable proof of any irregularities committed by any of the entries.

9 – SCHEDULE

REGISTRATION: OCTOBER 13 TO NOVEMBER 15, 2021.

SELECTION OF THE BEST WORKS: NOVEMBER 16 TO 19, 2021.

VOTING PERIOD FOR THE INTERNET AWARD: NOVEMBER 22 TO 26, 2021 (SALAODEHUMOR.COM)

DISCLOSURE OF THE WINNING PAPERS: DECEMBER 10, 2021
