3rd PITIK BULAG Tagisan Editorial Cartoon Contest- 2022 -Philippine

Theme is: “Does our history still mean something to defend?”

SUBMISSION

1. There are 2 categories: Junior Division (20 yrs old & below) & Senior Division (21 yrs old & above).

Age should be based as of September 12, 2022.

2. The participants shall make one (1) editorial cartoon entry based on the theme.

3. The entry should be in letter size (8.5 x 11 in.), landscape orientation, and at least 300 dpi.

FIle size is preferrably less than 3 MB.

4. The medium of the entry can be either traditional or digital, and either colored or grayscale. In case the entry is in traditional medium, it is recommended to scan it.

5. Please submit your entry on the following link: (https://tinyurl.com/3rdPBTagisanContest).

Make that sure you are using a Google Mail/ Gmail account. Aside from filling up the necessary information (name, pseudonym, address, etc.), you will also be asked to upload a photo of yourself with your entry.

6. Deadline is on September 23, 2022 (11:59 p.m.) Late entries will not be accepted.

JUDGING & ONLINE EXHIBITION

1. The selection of Top 25, Top 10, and Top 3 participants shall be determined by contest jury.

2. A shortlist of Top 25 participants per category will be released on September 25, 2022 (6:00 p.m.)

3. The entries of Top 10 participants per category will be exhibited on PITIK BULAG FB page on September 26, 2022 (6:00 p.m.). All of them shall receive a certificate.

4. The cartoons (from either of the two categories) that will get the most number of reactions by September 29, 2022 (12:00 p.m.) shall garner the “People’s Choice Award”.

PRIZES

1. Top 3 winners per category shall be announced on September 29, 2022 at around 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., with the following prizes:

1st Place: 2,000.00 pesos + certificate + special gift

2nd Place: 1,500.00 pesos + certificate

3rd Place: 1,000.00 pesos + certificate

2. People’s Choice Award: 750 pesos + certificate + special gift

3. All winners’ entries will be published on Pitik Bulag and other #FactsFirstPH partner-organizations.
