CartoonSEA Competition XI Edition 2019 Italy

The Regulation

1. The competition is open to all cartoonists, cartoonists, illustrators, satirical and graphic authors, etc., professionals and non-Italians (or residents of Italy) of age. You can apply for participation out of competition. This request excludes the author from awarding the prizes.

2. The proposed theme is: "CALDO BOIA. When climate change becomes emergency."

3. Each author can participate with a maximum of 3 (three)  works : vignettes, cartoons or strips. It is required that the works sent, not necessarily unpublished, are not published on the social networks during the period of the competition until the communication of the winning works.

4. The works must be sent via e-mail to  info@premiocartoonsea.it together with the entry form with all the author's details. The participation form can be downloaded here .

Format of the works: the works, realized in any color or black and white technique, must be in GIF, JPG, TIFF, PNG or PDF format . Image size: min. A4 - max. A3 with 300 dpi resolution.

5. The deadline for admission to the competition is set for June 26, 2019 , at 24:00.

6. Acceptance of the works, selection and awarding of prizes is the exclusive responsibility of the Jury appointed by SEA Group.

The judgment of the Jury is final and cannot be appealed.

7. The competition has the following Prizes:

1 GRANPRIX CARTOONSEA - 1.000 €

2 PRIX CARTOONSEA - 500 € each

SPECIAL "FRANCO ORIGONE" AWARD - 200 €

The selected works among all those sent will become part of the exhibition that will take place in Fano (PU) from 20 July to 4 August 2019 and will be part of the CartoonSEA 2019 catalog.

8. The results of the Jury will be announced by e-mail to all participating authors.

9. A copy of the catalog will be sent to all selected authors.

10. The organizing body reserves the right to reproduce and disseminate the works in the press and / or other means of communication and promotion, citing the author, without any compensation.

11. Participation in the Competition implies full acceptance of these Rules.
