19th SALON INTERNATIONAL OF HUMOR DE LIMEIRA 2023

Registration until August 30th

All artists who draw freehand, with a free theme, are invited to participate. Registration is free. Participants must register with works of their own authorship, from the minimum size A4 (21 x 29.7cm) to the A3 size (29.7 x 42cm). Entries will close on August 30, 2023. All works must be ORIGINAL and UNPRECEDENTED.

All works must be sent to the e-mail: piuhumor@hotmail.com

in JPEG files in the minimum size of A4 to A3, with 300dpi. The e-mails of each artist with registered works must be sent only once, so that the folders are not duplicated, facilitating the organization, selection and awarding of works.

IF THE REGULATIONS ARE NOT RESPECTED IN FULL, THE DRAWINGS MAY NOT BE SELECTED AND AWARDED.

AWARDS

For the winners in each of the 4 (four) Categories – CARICATURE, CARTOON, CHARGE and COMICS – we will have prizes worth R$ 300.00 (BRL three hundred). Prizes will be paid via bank deposit or remittance abroad, minus the operator’s shipping fee. We will also have Digital Certificates for the 4 (four) award-winning artists selected by our Judging Committee that will be sent by email. Trophies will be mailed. In addition to the winners, we will contemplate another 10 (ten) artists with Honorable Mentions who will receive Digital Certificates sent by email. Those selected and awarded will be announced and published on our Blog and Facebook, until September 2023.

EXHIBITION

The 100 selected works will be exhibited in September 2023, in our permanent virtual exhibition on the blog of “Editora O PIU” – www.jornalopiu.blospot.com – in addition to the itinerant physical exhibition promoted by the Municipal Secretariat of Culture of Limeira in prominent points from the city from September 2023, with a date to be confirmed that will be announced by our social media channels and our blog.

All entries will be considered acquisitive by “Editora O PIU”. Ownership, use and any other rights over these works will now belong to “Editora O PIU”, which reserves the right to use them as it sees fit. The simple registration constitutes automatic and full agreement of the participant with these Regulations.
