8th International Cartoon Gathering-Egypt 2024

The Ministry of Culture in Egypt, in cooperation with Egyptian Caricature Association organizes The 8th International Cartoon Gathering.

• Themes:

1 Cartoon theme: Humour cartoon.

2 Caricature theme: Egyptian comedian superstar "Samir Ghanem".

Egyptian comedian superstar Samir Ghanem (15 January 1937 – 20 May 2021), Ghanem was beloved by audiences of all ages, he was a unique comedian, the veteran comedian has enthralled viewers with his TV, film and theater performances for decades.

- The exhibition is open to all cartoonists all over the world, over the age of 18.

- All artworks to be prepared at 300 dpi.

- Size A3 (297mmx420mm) in JPEG format.

- Entries: Max. 1 cartoon.

- Submitted works can be in color or black and white, in any style or technique.

- Submitted works must not violate copyright laws.

- By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his own and permit the organizers to have full right to reproduce all or a part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition.

- All participants whose works will be exhibited will receive a digital catalogue and a digital certificate of participation.
