Caricature Exhibition Japan with the eyes of the caricature

The Japan Foundation in Cairo, in cooperation with Fico Egypt, presents an exhibition: Japan with the eyes of Aft in honor of the famous Egyptian caricature artist "Mohamed Aft" who passed away in 2019.

Although Aft never had the chance to visit Japan, he was deeply interested in Japan and left behind many caricature works about it. Some were about traditional Japanese arts and culture, some were about Japan's experiences during World War II, some were about peace, and all were unique and from his own perspective.

This year marks five years since the death of Mr. Aft. And we will hold a special exhibition to commemorate and honor the outstanding achievements of Mr. Aft.

Exhibition period: December 22, 2024 to January 15, 2025

Business Hours: 11am - 6pm (Sunday to Wednesday).
