WINNERS IN WORLD PRESS CARTOON OEIRAS  PORTUGAL 2025

In total, there are almost 300 high-quality works that allow us to revisit what the world was like between January 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025.

Views from different cultures, works in which 151 cartoonists portray events and their protagonists with mordacity and humor.

jury that met in Oeiras in June and included, in addition to the director of the exhibition,

António Antunes (the cartoonist António),

 the cartoonists Niels Bo Bojensen, from Denmark, and Tchavdar Nikolov, from Bulgaria,

 the French illustrator Anne Derenne, and the

 Portuguese art historian Paulo Morais-Alexandre.

    The award-winning works of World Press Cartoon Oeiras 2025 are signed by:

    Aristides Hernandez (Cuba),

    Darko Drljevic (Montenegro),

    David Pinto and Carlos Chinto (Spain),

    Frank Hoppmann (Germany),

    Ivan Mata (Spain),

    José Vaz (Portugal),

    Nahid Maghsoudi (Iran)

    and Pawel Kuczynski (Poland).

These authors will receive their trophies during a music and comedy show hosted by presenter Inês Lopes Gonçalves, featuring Ana Brito e Cunha, the Catalan comedy group Clownic and the 24 Robbers Swing Band.
