International Graphic Humor Exhibition Humoràlia – Lleida-Spain

The Department of Cooperation and Humoràlia organizes the Humoràlia Graphic Humor Exhibition under the motto "ARMED CONFLICTS IN THE WORLD".

Through this theme, Humoràlia seeks to promote the values of a culture of peace and to deepen understanding of today’s world, with particular emphasis on the conflicts that, regrettably, still persist internationally.

The aim is to encourage reflection on ongoing conflicts and the need for peaceful resolution.

Participation Rules

1. Any person, professional or amateur artist, who contributes to the dissemination of DH and DHD can participate.

2. The theme of the exhibition is “Armed Conflicts in the World”.

3. The deadline for receiving works begins on November 1 and ends on December 15, 2025.

4. The submission of works must be made only through the electronic process: https://cooperacio.paeria.cat/humoralia/presentacio-de-candidatures-1

5. In the same process, accompanying the work, the form must be filled out and a photograph of the graphic work must be attached.

6. The Works:

They can be made in any technique, with DIN A4 format (210 mm x 297 mm) or proportional.

Participants can send a maximum of 3 works, in black & white or color, and if possible without text.

In case of containing text, this must be in Catalan, Spanish, English, or French.

The works must be sent at 300 dpi and in JPG or JPEG format.

7. A Jury qualified in the field of Graphic Humor and Solidarity will make a selection of 50 works from those submitted.

The composition of the Jury will be announced on the Website.

The Jury will make its verdict public within a maximum of 1 month from the deadline date.

8. The decision of the Jury will be final.

9. Participation implies authorization to publish the selected works in a traveling exhibition, a printed catalog, and an online catalog.

10. The participant who presents the work, as the author, transfers the rights free of charge to the Department of Cooperation.

11. The participants guarantee that their works are original and do not infringe third-party rights.

12. The works, being digital, will not be returned to the authors.

13. Due to the solidarity nature of the Exhibition, the selected works will not be awarded financially.

The organization undertakes to send 2 copies of the printed catalog to the selected people by post.

14. The organization will inform, via electronic notification, the people whose works have been selected in the Exhibition.

15. Participation in the Exhibition implies acceptance of these rules. Any doubts that may arise will be resolved by the Jury.
