36st edition International Cartoon Contest -Smiling City- Romania 2026

Upon the occasion of the International Festival for Satirical Graphics and Humorous Literature "Umor la … Gura Humorului", the 36st edition, the Town Hall of Gura Humorului organizes a special satirical graphics contest.

Contest Rules:

Theme: "Smiling City".

The participants must submit 1 (one) satirical graphic work

The cartoon must be created after the 1st of January 2026, and it must be unpublished and unrewarded within other contests.

Special Prize: 150 euros.

The works must be sent at the following e-mail address: smiling.city.gh@gmail.com until the 1 July 2026.

The works will not be given back to their owners, as they are part of the heritage of the International Festival for Satirical Graphics and Humorous Literature "Umor la … Gura Humorului" and the organizers reserve the right to use them in later edited materials.
