23rd International Comics and Cartoon Festival in Prizren- Kosovo

The 23rd International Comics and Cartoon Festival Prizren has announced its international open call for the 2026 edition, inviting cartoonists and comic artists from around the world to submit their work.

Organized by the Comics and Cartoon Artists Association “Xhennet Comics”, the festival will take place in October 2026 in Prizren, Kosovo.

Competition Themes

Artists may participate with works based on either of the following themes:

    Actors Drawn on Paper

    Free Theme

Both caricatures and comics are accepted.

Eligibility

The competition is open to authors worldwide, regardless of:

    Age

    Gender

    Nationality

    Profession

Works may be created by a single artist or collaboratively by more than one artist.

Submission Requirements

Each participant must submit a minimum of one and a maximum of three caricatures or comics.

For works submitted by email, scanned files must have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.

Each submission must also include:

    A short autobiography

    One portrait photograph

    Contact details

    The artist’s signature on every submitted work

Entries that do not include the required information will not be considered valid.

Deadline

The final deadline for submissions is:

30 September 2026

Jury and Selection

The selection jury will be composed of professional international artists.

The submitted works will be evaluated online, and the selection process is expected to be completed no later than:

9 October 2026
