Global Digital Cartoon Book — The Shared Voice of Artists Around the World

The Tabriz Cartoonists Association proudly invites cartoonists, caricaturists, and illustrators from around the world to contribute to “The Image of Peace,” an international digital art book dedicated to amplifying the universal message of peace, coexistence, humanity, and the rejection of violence.

This collective artistic project seeks to bring together the diverse perspectives and creative voices of artists from across the globe in a shared visual statement for peace.

THEMATIC FOCUS

The project explores the following fundamental human and universal themes:

- Sustainable peace and global coexistence

- Rejection of war, violence, hatred, and destruction

- Motherhood, compassion, the creation of life, and the role of women in peace

- Children, the future of our world, and the right to live in safety

- Displacement, migration, and the suffering of people affected by war

- Hope, reconstruction, friendship, and solidarity among nations

- Human dignity, freedom, and mutual respect

- Nature, our planet, and peace with the environment

- The role of art in preventing war and fostering understanding

- Personal reflections and experiences of artists on peace and the realities of war

This book seeks to present a multivocal portrait of our contemporary world—a world that, perhaps more than ever before, needs the universal language of art to express the truth and meaning of peace.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

- Each artist may submit one cartoon or illustration related to the themes listed above.

- Previously created works may also be submitted, provided that they are the artist’s original works and belong entirely to the artist.

- Each submission must be accompanied by a professional portrait photograph of the artist, suitable for publication.

- Each artist should provide a short message of 3–5 lines expressing a thought or message about peace, friendship, or opposition to war.

- AI-generated artworks will not be accepted.

- All submitted works must be original, creative, and legally owned by the participating artist.

- By submitting an artwork, the artist agrees to its publication in “The Image of Peace” digital book.

Artwork: JPG or PNG

Resolution: Minimum 2000 pixels on the longest side or 300 DPI

File naming: Artist’s Name + Country

Artist’s message: Text file or included in the email

Artist’s portrait: High-resolution photograph suitable for publication

RECOGNITION OF PARTICIPATING ARTISTS

As a token of appreciation for their contribution to this global artistic initiative, every participating artist will receive an official Certificate of Participation from the Tabriz Cartoonists Association.

The certificate will commemorate the artist’s contribution to this international collective effort and their role in amplifying the universal message of peace.

THE AIM OF THE PROJECT

“The Image of Peace” seeks to bring together artistic perspectives from every corner of the world and demonstrate that the language of art knows no borders.

Through the universal language of creativity, this project aims to convey to the world a shared human message of peace, friendship, coexistence, and harmony.

Upon completion, the book will be published and made freely available to the public online and will also be sent to each participating artist, allowing their voices and artistic messages to reach the widest possible audience.
