
2nd Longyou Xikou International Cartoon Art Exhibition- China 2026
1. Exhibition Theme
The exhibition is themed "Xikou • Village • Future". Artists are invited to create cartoon works inspired by Xikou Town (Longyou County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province), covering its landscapes, local specialties, notable figures, and cultural heritage. For artists unfamiliar with Xikou Town, reference materials can be accessed through WeChat Official Accounts such as Zhejiang Future Village College and Xikou Future Village as well as other online platforms (by searching for "Longyou Xikou"); The curatorial team has also compiled a resource pack for reference (see the end of this document or the attached link).
2. Image Specifications
Quantity: Each participant may submit a maximum of 2 electronic works (no physical originals required).
Format & Resolution: Works must be in A4 or A3 size (JPG format) with a resolution of 300 DPI.
Application Form: All participants are required to complete the official application form (available at the end of this document or via the attached link).
3. Originality Requirement
All submitted works must be original. AI-generated works are eligible but must be clearly marked in the designated section of the application form.
4. Exhibition Scale
The exhibition will feature 200 works in total, including 150 open-call submissions and 50 specially invited works.
5. Eligibility
This call for submissions is open to art enthusiasts aged 16 and above, both domestic and international.
6. Award Settings
The exhibition will confer the following awards: First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize, and Merit Awards.
7. Exhibition Feedback
Selected participants will receive electronic exhibition brochures and electronic certificates of participation.
8. Important Dates
Submission Period: Open for submissions starting today – November 20, 2026
Selection Period: November 25 – November 27, 2026
Public Display of Results: November 29 –December 3, 2026 (for originality verification)
9. How to submit

10. Public Supervision
To ensure originality and fairness, all selected works will be displayed publicly for five days for review. Any objections must be submitted with supporting evidence to the aforementioned submission email.
11. Copyright Notice
The exhibition organizer reserves the right to use submitted works for non-commercial purposes, including publication, printing, and exhibition.
Should any cartoon work be considered for derivative product development, a licensing agreement preserving the author’s attribution and commercial rights will be arranged.
